Maraenui Golf Club has bounced back strong after the 2023 cyclone. Summer brings firm, fast conditions with some burnt areas, while winter offers softer fairways and more grass coverage. The greens roll well year-round, reflecting the club’s ongoing hard work and care.
Challenge
The course offers a nice mix of hazards, trees, and doglegs with generous fairways and minimal rough. Greens are guarded by some bunkers but remain approachable. While not overly challenging, the nearby beach means wind can play a big role in your game.
Facilities
The club features a manned driving range, putting and chipping areas, plus a fully stocked pro shop. The clubhouse is open all week, serving drinks and refreshments, providing excellent facilities for both members and visitors.
